VP of Operations

A PE-backed third-party manufacturer in Doral is scaling past $80M in revenue and needs an operator who can run the floor and the P&L in the same breath. This is not a caretaker role. The board wants throughput up, scrap down, and a plant that runs the same on the night shift as it does at 9 a.m.

What you'll own

You report to the CEO and own everything between raw material and shipped pallet. Three plant managers and a 240-person operation roll up to you.

• Production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain — end to end
• A multi-site footprint with one flagship in Doral and two satellite lines
• The operating cadence: daily tiers, weekly business reviews, monthly board pack
• Capex planning and the automation roadmap the sponsor is underwriting

What we're hunting for

We're looking for a process-improvement operator, not a title collector. The right person has turned a struggling line around with their own hands and has the EBITDA story to prove it.

• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, 5+ at the VP or plant-GM level
• A documented track record moving OEE, on-time delivery, or unit cost — with numbers
• Lean / Six Sigma fluency that shows up on the floor, not just on a certificate
• Comfort inside a PE-backed environment: monthly reporting, value-creation plans, a clock
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus given the workforce and supplier base
