Portfolio CFO

A lower-middle-market private equity firm in Miami is placing a CFO into one of its portfolio companies — a services platform doing roughly $45M in revenue and built through three bolt-on acquisitions in two years. The integration is half-done and the reporting is held together with spreadsheets. They need a finance leader who has done this before and won't flinch.

What you'll own

You're the financial backbone of the platform and the sponsor's eyes inside it. You report to the CEO with a hard line to the deal team.

• Integration of three acquired entities onto one chart of accounts and one ERP
• The 13-week cash forecast and the lender relationship behind it
• Board reporting, the value-creation dashboard, and the next add-on's diligence
• Building a real FP&A function where today there is one overworked controller

What we're hunting for

This is a builder's seat. We want someone who thinks like an investor and operates like a controller — equally comfortable in a covenant calculation and a QofE.

• 10+ years in finance, with prior CFO or VP Finance time inside a PE-backed company
• Direct experience integrating acquisitions — systems, teams, and reporting
• Fluency with debt: covenants, borrowing-base certificates, lender reporting
• A close you can stand behind in front of a board that asks hard questions
• The temperament to operate in ambiguity and bring order to it

The platform is past the risky early innings — the thesis is proven, the cash flow is real, and the sponsor is committed to two more add-ons before exit. The CFO who takes this role helps write the exit story and shares in it.
